I am the Grandfather Clock

resting in the corner

My heavy metal feet

Pace

the same dull beat…

Continuous.

My face – Never changing

My gears – Always repeating

always in the same direction

Consistent

I am the grandfather clock

Waiting….

Still in the corner

Day-in. Day-out.
